This virtual event is a mix of a historical tour with a nature tour. It starts at the famous Central Market, where you will visit medicinal plant stalls, among others. After that, you will cross through the downtown area, where you will hear about the history, culture, traditions and architecture of these places. The second half of the tour is a walk through San Jose's beautiful urban parks where you will see and learn about the different types of trees and vegetation and their possible uses.
Learn about the unique historical significance of this ancient site as you take a walk through the history and the ethnobotany of Skunk Hill with local experts. We'll enjoy treats, see a short film and artifacts while you experience Skunk Hill in the Spring.
