Minneapolis-based author Lindsay Starck will talk about her second novel, "Monsters We Have Made." Lindsay will also take audience questions.

 

Bio:

Lindsay Starck is a writer, editor, and professor based in Minneapolis. Her first novel, Noah’s Wife, was published in 2016 by G.P. Putnam’s Sons, and her second novel, Monsters We Have Made, was recently released by Vintage / Anchor Books.

"Typewriter's Block" with Robert Walker

Robert Walker will talk about the inspiration and writing process for his recently published novel, "Typewriter's Block," and provide additional insights into the world of typewriter collecting.

 

Bio:

Robert Walker is a retired journalist and communications professional. He has a collection of more than 20 typewriters, including all of the machines mentioned in his debut novel, "Typewriter's Block." Walker and his wife live in central Wisconsin and enjoy winter getaways in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area.

The Red Cross will be holding a blood drive that is open to the public.  You can save up to 3 lives just by donating blood.  Adults and teens 16 and over are eligible to donate.  Visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-733-2767 to register for an appointment between 10am and 3pm.  You can also drop by to see if there are any openings to donate.  Thank you for saving lives!
